Final Draft
Reflection:
1. I think me and my partner did a good job on editing our in and out points, chosing backgrounds, making the music soft so we can hear oursleves talking, and our title border.
2. I would have referred to our backgrounds more. Luis and Julissa did this and it made their video really effective. Also I would have liked to dress up like Demi and Bree. When they did this it made their video more fun and you could tell they spent extra time to make their video more creative.
3. I edited the video and added the music. I set all the in and out points and made the titles at the end.
4. We both helped each other write the script, we made sure to listen to all the edits and try to make them flow. We spent a good half and hour trying to find good music. Once we both found the music we helped each other make it fit in and tried to make it soft.
5. If I had another chance to complete this project I would have put more information in the script. We had a lot of information but compared to other groups' videos our video was really short and had less information than most.
5 Things About Cyberbullying
One technique I learned from Eddy's video was the making titles more colorful. They made their titles really interesting and it caught my attention. Another technique I learned from their video was music can make a huge difference. The music they chose made their video seem professionally done. It taught me to choose music that fits with the theme of the video and to take time to find music. The music during the slides made their video very interesting.
From this video I learned that it is very important to choose who you interview. This group found a person that has been cyberbullied and was able to interview her. This was a very effective way to porve that cyberbullying happens everywhere. Another thing I learned from their video was the titles they used. The way they were able to make their titles move and then fade was very cool and professional. Are group did not take as much time on the titles, and now I learned to spend more time working with them. The last thing I learned was the music, they were able to make their own music with acid and it really showed they put a lot of work in it. I know i want to be able to make my own music next time.

Green Screen Reflection
Describe how a green screen works. A green screen works by filming in fornt of the screen and then editing another film or picture to replace the green screen. Because it is a green color it is wasy to edit it out but some thing you need to consider shadows, lighting, wearing green, and making sure the camera is centered on the screen. Some problems that can arise are if the person is wearing green, the person can start to disappear. Using after effects was easier to edit the green screen out and putting the real background after.

Rough Draft Reflection
I am most satisfied with our pictures and our editing, I think we did a good job editing the interviews so they were not choppy. Some comments that helped me improve my final draft was making the firt slide shorter, I did not realize how long it was until someone said so. Some changes we made to our final video was: we took some of the pictures out and replaced them with more appropriate ones. We also took out one of the interviews in the beginning and we made our slides different and shorter. I think we would have made our slides more colorful and more eye catching if we had another day. We also haven't even been able to get our bibliography into our final video because we were having technical difficulties. If I could have done the project all over again I would have chosen different computers, our computers always froze and because of that we were not able to make our video the best we possible could. I also would have liked to have done some more filming.I realzied it can be very frustrating when we do not have enough time, or our computers are not working. The one last thought I have on my video would be i am really disappointed we were not able to finish.

titletemplate fernandez
This is an example of an overlay title that was made from a template, which means the title is going over the video when it plays, but it was made from a template so there is a certain theme or design in the title. You might use this kind of title when you want to make the titles all exactly them same, using a template is the best way to make sure everything is consistent.
title2overlay fernandez
This is an example of an lower third title with a box around it, which means the title is going over the video when it plays but is inside a box so it is easier to see. You might use this kind of title when the background of the clip makes it hard to read your title.

I learned how to delete clips, ripple edits, lift, and extract fast and easily. We extracted the clip this way because it was made the most sense and flowed a little better.I hoped to make the video kind of flow, because the clips were really choppy.
A simple cut in the timeline means taking out a clip in the timeline. When you cut, the other clips in the timeline leave a space where the cut clip was. A ripple edit is when you delete a clip and shift the remaining clips over to fill in the space. You do this by right clicking and selecting ripple edit. When you ripple delete, the other clips to the right of the deleted clip shift over to fill in the space. Lifting and extracting are two ways to cut clips from the video at one time. To do this, you set an in point and out point and use the insert or extracting tool to take out the clip you selected.
Lifting is like inserting, while extracting is like overlaying, in terms of what happens to the other clips in the timeline.
This is an example of an ripple edit. I decided to extract the two clips where I did because to me it made the video less choppy.

Overlay Workshop Video
This is an example of an overlay edit. An overlay edit places a clip over another clip. To do this, you drag the overlay clip into the original clip. I decided to overlay the 2nd clip where I did because I thought thiws was the best place to put it.
The difference between an overlay and an insert edit is and overlay goes over the orginal clip and an insert does not. You would use an overlay when you want to insert something over your orginal clip. You’d use an insert edit when you want to put another clip into your orginal clip. In this case the insert edit works better because you do not take out any of your original clip when you put it in.
Insert workshop Video
This is an example of an insert edit. An insert edit places a clip_inside another clip without overlaping it. To do this, you separate your main clip and place the insert clip between it. I decided to insert the 2nd clip where I did because I thought it was the best place for the insert clip.

My Reflection on Project 2
On the product of Project 2 I think I could have improved the title of my project. I think I should have rearranged the order of my clips to make them in a logical order. I like the font of the project and I think i timed them right. I think I am getting better at exporting my finished product onto youtube, because my video actually played this time. If I could do this project over I would want to take more time doing it (not rush through it) so I would have been completely satisfied. On my next project, I would like to learn how to resize the video and center it. I did not help my partner because I was only here for the last day we did the projects, so she was pretty much done. My partner helped me a lot by telling me the order in which to do the tasks.

My Reflection on Project 1
My final product is not to my satsifaction, considering the fact that I cannot watch it on my actual blog. The skills I have learned from creating this final product is how to export and import videos and how to edit videos using the Adobe Premiere program. I would like to improve on learning how to make my video viewable so then i can see my finished product.
Liz and I helped each other out a lot. Without her i do not think i would have been able to finish my video because we both struggled with the technology and the program used to edit the video. The power point was pretty helpful in helping my figure out skills i need to learn.

Our Group's Discussion about Vaules.com
Our group liked the cafeteria video the best. It had a good message and was relatable to high school students.
